Hi-
I recently posted a thread saying I had white smoke at idle, however after taking it to the local garage he confirmed it was blue smoke!

It's an XJ 2.5TD.

The Land Rover specialist was too concerned with the inherent VM Diesel problems so didn't want to take it on! -Puts a great deal of confidence in me :/

I am in Reading UK, nr London.

He also said the water pressure was very high as you cannot compress the top hose whilst running.
There is also a rattle sometimes after long journeys.

I have only had the Jeep 2 weeks and have next to no repair money

If anyone has any tips or hints I would greatly appreciate it. I have to drive 120mi on the motorway tonight, so will be keeping an eye on the temp.
