2001 Cherokee Sport. I thought the hinges were squeaky but it turns out the door moulding is rubbing on the front fender when fulled opened. YouTube says these mouldings are held on with 3M tape. Bit of a gap on top of the driver side moulding and I can see a metal bracket underneath. So who knows for sure, taped in or snapped into a bracket if some sort? Short term fix is some dielectric grease on the moulding to help quiet the squeak😎 What’s the real fix?
