Body Trim
My body trim, I guess it is a rubber/plastic? The think molding that goes around it. 1998 Sport.
Mine are faded. Is there a way to bring them back to life. Or just respray them with some paint?

You've got a couple options...
a) Meguiar's has a product that is supposed to bring it back to life
b) sand it and paint it or use spray-on bedliner
c) remove the trim
d) other that someone else will chime in with.
I did C. I just pulled off the trim with my hands and then used a 3M rubber adhesive removal wheel ($25 from amazon). Took about 20 minutes with the wheel and had no issues.

that was my first idea since that's the scheme on it now, but my '01 is what i call "gunmetal blue" and that's just not "navy"-which is as close as i can find. i thought black would look okay if i also went over the bumpers. My factory paint is still in excellent shape (a few backwoods scratches aside), so the faded trim really looks like crap.

Mine are off right now, and I think it looks really clean. However, I bought Duplicolor body trim paint for them and I might put them back on. They look REALLY clean. Only problem is, Ill need to do everything else to make them match.

I tryed Mothers back to black and it only lasted a month. Then dupi-color trim paint worked great and it ended up like in my photos (looks black and brand new)
