I'm looking to hit up the junkyard Wednesday to get some Chrysler 8.25 axle shafts from a newer body style and I can't find anywhere what size head the little bolt that holds the carrier pin in place is.

the little bolt in the circle
I try to bring the least amount of tools with me. Its a long haul from the office to the back.
All i need to do is remove the drums, pop the diff cover, take out that little bolt, remove the carrier pin, and push the axle shafts in to remove the C-clips, and pull the axles out,... am i missing anything?
I plan on bring a good size hammer and prybar to remove the drums, should be 13mm bolts for the diff cover. Then whatever the size is of the little bolt, a socket/wrench to remove that is.

I'm fairly sure it's a reduced head, and the one I saw in a D35 took a 5/16" wrench, as I recall. I'd figure the C8-1/4" to be fairly similar - take 1/4" to 3/8" and 8m/m to 13m/m - that as a selection of end wrenches is fairly compact, or you can take it all as an assortment of sockets.
NB: It may be a 12-point head, so take 12-point sockets (a 12-point socket will, of course, work with a six-point screw head as well.)
