Bosch 02 Sensors
Don't buy a Bosch. I've gone through 5 of them now.
I just started looking around and it appears that it's not very compatible with Jeep.
After looking around more, it appears BMW and Lexus owners also have failure with them as well.
In the end NTK, aka NGK, are the only ones to go with. Learn from my mistake.
NAPA is the only store that has them readily in stock too. Who would've thunk? And they're cheaper.
I guess it's ok to shop at Azone and Advance as long as you research every part you buy. I've never once had a failed part from NAPA. $370+ dollars later in 02 sensors I have finally made the connection between NAPA and their catch phrase "get the good stuff" .
Just an FYI, the NTK 02 sensor is the one that is also referred to as MOPAR.
Also, cleaning 02 sensors doesn't seem to work. The third link confirms my suspicions since I have tried and met with no results.

Just want everyone who ever does a search for Bosch or NTK 02 sensors to know... the gas mileage has improved drastically with the NTK over the Bosch. I spent 25 out of 35 miles wheeling off road and just barely passed the full mark. Driving straight on a high way I would have passed the full line already.
I don't know how some of you get away just fine with those Bosch 02 sensors.
Also, I drive a 98. Maybe certain model years has something to do with.

Crap. I just threw in a Bosch. It was my only option at the time. (wire loom wrapped around forward propeller shaft)
I'll let you know. I will hook the jeep up to my MOVI and see how that sensor is doing.
Coffee has never given me trouble, until NOW!

How much are those O2 sensor wrenches? I need to do mine too. I tried to remove mine cold, hot, pb blasterized, and all and it didn't wanna come off. I might need to find a bigger combo wrench and make a cheater bar/pipe to get the darned thing off. Def going with NTK. Oh, and what is the suggested way of getting the wiring harness detached from the O2 sensor?

02's are also sensitive to being dropped. NTK's come better boxed than bosch's. There's the possibility that every damn one of all 5 of them I bought had been dropped. Just depends on dumb luck. Some of us are dumber than others, while others are luckier.
Simply pushing the pin and pulling always has worked for me. You'll need to hold one side of the barrel connect with your other hand. It's not a one hand job.
Remember, if you replace one sensor it's a good idea to replace both. You can initially replace one and see if after about 15 miles you get a code saying the other one needs to be replaced. They work together. If you've had the tailpipe submerged I can gaurantee you you need to replace the post-catalyst.

In my '95 with one sensor, I disconnected the wiring, then used a dremmel to cut it down to where my deep socket would fit.
Sprayed liberally with pb blaster, and then, I grabbed my BFRatchet and took it out.
Total time = 20min
If you can't be good, be good at it!

Only got one O2 sensor dude. Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll get on it right after the coolant flush and the suspension bushings... Gotta figure out what my new *clunk* is, too.

There is a little difference in one of the electrical specs on the Bosch oxygen sensor for the 4.0, compared to the NTK. (heater circuit)
You are correct in that the NTK is the OEM supplier to Jeep. For that reason, NTK is the brand that I install and recommend.
I'm a pretty big Bosch fan, but because some (not all) have had trouble with them, I don't install their oxygen sensors in the 4.0 engine.
