Brake caliper replacements
Might be a dumb question but i couldn't find to much about it when searching. Any opinions on getting some replacement calipers from auto zone/napa vs crown replacements from qtec? There's a like a $30 difference for the qtec plus they need to be shipped. Where i could go to the parts store and walk out with the calipers right there.
When changing the pads out i noticed the cylinder in one of the calipers is cracked.

I got the remanufactured and coated Raybestos from RA last year. The coating still has them looking nice, for what it's worth. But it's only superficial.
If I remember correctly, you want the Phenolic piston material. You also want them to use heavy duty rubber for the boots on the slide pins so they last longer and don't rip if you have to do maintenance.
