When I upgraded my booster/master I had everything apart and don't remember that. But I have the memory of a sleep-deprived squirrel so maybe I just forgot.

My main complaint is I can hear the relay so I know it takes more than light pedal pressure for it to go off. It was like this before I did the booster/master upgrade so I don't think I messed anything up. I've also replaced the switch with a new one. The switch came with a new plastic bushing so I used that too. No change.

Just change pedal assembly. Auto or stick same frame just swap your pedals. Getting ready to myself.

XJ 4.0 Renix auto with the same problem after fitting the 2000 Grand Cherokee WJ brake master cylinder and booster modification.
so you solved the problem removing the steel cylinder spacer and the plastic bushings ?
