Brake Lights Stay On
Hey y'all, I just got done replacing my heater core and everything else in the HVAC box. While I had the dash apart I changed my turn signal relay that was no longer working. Now, my brake lights are stuck on even when the key is not in the ignition. Any ideas? I have full LEDs in the rear and on the dash. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I had this happen a couple of times with my 98.
The brake light switch is mounted to the underside of the dash and
has a little plunger. When the pedal is at rest, it pushes the plunger in
and the lights are off. So, push the plunger in with your finger to see if the
lights go off. If they stay on, either the switch needs replacing or you'll
need to check if power is going to the switch. If they go off, then you
need to adjust the switch position or, as I did, glue a shim to the pedal
to make the plunger go in farther.
