Brake Lines Replacement Question
Hi Guys,
I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0L 2WD stock and my passenger front side brake line is leaking and needs replaced.
where’s the best place to get your brake lines and does anyone have any videos or seen on how to replace them?
im not looking for brake hoses. Just the line that runs from the brake fluid reservoir under the hood to passenger side.
thank you

I replaced my rear hard lines. I bought 10 feet of line, a mix bag of fittings, a cheap spring type pipe bender, and a flare tool. Took quite a few tries to feel good about my flairs but it’s been good for a few years now. And yes, once I did forget to put the nut on before I did the second flare. I dunno if there is a better way to test it but when I finished the instal and bleed I just cleaned it all up with lots of break clean, let it dry, and then pressed on the break pedal as hard as I could for a while. Kept doing this for a few days till I felt sure there were no leaks or weak spots.

If you dont want to do it yourself like the above (use copper-nickel line, steel can be hard to flare)
If there are any brake specialists near you they can make one for you
or I have seen some for sale from Jeep specialists in USA, try Rock auto etc etc
or wrecker

Most autoparts stores here used to make them up to length or pattern, but there's not many places like that left. Surely it's easier for you guys?
