Putting it back together today.. dflintstone, good tip using a drummel scribing a line just enough to get a bite w/ a screwdriver
I miss my heep!! It's going back together today and I'll post more when I get it on the road again,

Granted the 'funky factor" is there, but heck, it's just plumbing. Not like its a rod cap or a crank/drive bolt. That repair the PO did is probably good for many times the force it will see. Best of luck..post back when shes not drippen! (lets hope)
