Broken bolt on rear shock mount
We are replacing my shocks with correct stock ones and on the passenger side rear shock we twisted off the rear shock mount bolt on the bottom, any ideas? We thought about drilling the whole bolt out through the back and just nut and boltin it back on, Would this work?

Man ... There is a little piece of crap nut welded in on the other side. You can try banging that out with a punch and a hammer. If you are successful, you will have to tape a new nut on the end of a combination wrench, feed it way down in there and try to screw a new bolt through it.
Or ...
You can do like I did and I cut the carpet in the back, and then I chisled through the metal floor, folded it open and had direct access to the crappy Chrysler welded nuts. Even then they were hard to get out. I had to put an impact gun on them and twist them off. It ain't pretty, but it's effective.

You can drill it out and then put a bolt in the hole. I had to do both of mine that way and it has worked fine for 10k miles. I had some long grade 10 bolts, with a fine thread on them that I used

its been about 10k miles and its fine. When I first did I, I would check the bolts almost every time I was under the jeep, and they never came loose. It has been wheeled, towing and of course DD duties without any issues. I figure if I have any problems with it, I can just weld the bolt in and be done with it
I also found new mounts online that you can cut your old ones off and weld new ones on. I am running the D35 back there, so I refuse to put any money into that axle. When I upgrade I will do all that
