Default Broken Coil Spring Bracket?

Hi! I was backing out of my drive way, hit a bump and starting sagging to the right... hard. I get underneath and see a piece of metal that attaches to a bracket that holds the driver side front coil spring in place.

Can this be welded? or do I have a bigger problem on my hands?

i would guess this is because of rust and less about the bump you hit in the driveway... i've never had a Solid coil spring mount split/break from the axle. Rusty ones is a different story.

I would keep an eye out for another Dana 30 front axle to swap in. they can be had for pretty cheap ($100-ish) around my area...
