To little info and pics are not very good. YOu have to explain, which shock? which mount on that shock? then tell use what he pics are of or take one pic out wide so we can get a view of which part of the jeep you are at.

Looks to me like the front shock mount next to the spring on the axle. right?

Exactly, its the front right bottem shock mount. Its not a broken bolt either its the metal tab welded on above the lower control arm tabs. I know how to fix it I just can't find the little metal tab online and its way to rusty and damaged fo weld back together.

And my bad for the bad pictures and missing info. I just made this whole thread on a blackberry and I was in a rush.

Ok again, my bad for the bad pictures but work with me on this.

The left side of this picture is the ground and the black thing on the right is my shock. Now as you can see the shock is still bolted onto the mount but the mount is snapped right off the axle.

forget trying to weld on a new bracket... just find another front axle and swap it out... if that shock mount is that bad then ur control arm bracket isn't gonna be too far off, and you'll be wheeling and then it'll break..
again i'd suggest getting another d30 from some parts jeep.... just make sure its got the same gear ratio

I already replaced the control arm brackets and I have a friend who will weld a new one on for free I just need to find the bracket and I bet its like 8 bucks or something. The left side is fine but for some reason all the brackets on the right side rotted out.

In order to save that axle, you will need a new coil spring and shock mount. Here is a link for some builder parts. these are not the only ones available, but will give you an idea of what you will need.

you might be better off just getting a new axle and swapping it in they can be had rather cheaply these days but if you really want to fix it those brackets from rustys that 4.3xj metioned are you best bet also check out a-z fab they have all kinds of different brackets and stuff http://www.atozfabrication.com
