Broken Valve Spring From E3 Plug..?

I believe it was about those years for the valve springs.

All the plugs look like crap, but only one cylinder had the misfire code.

E3s suck.

The only thing I had heard was that the 99-01 had head issues near #5 which is why l bought a 98. I don't think #5 was misfiring, I believe the head was starting to go and the spring breaking is what sent me to the shop. It was then that the sh#t E3 plugs were discovered and were just complicating the issue.
