Bushwacker flare rub suggestions
So, after lifting and putting the bushwacker pocket style cutout fender flares on, ironically, i guess they aren't quite even. In normal road driving, when i turn, my front right tire rubs. I am debating which way to do this, and advice would be much appreciated. I can either try to put screws in it, as my Indiana PA cops love pulling us lifted jeeps over for lack of mud flaps, and so i am putting some on, and need to screw it anyway, or if i should, perhaps, cut it. Those flares cost me almost 500 bucks, so i prefer the idea of putting screws in it to pull it back, but i am unsure as to wether or not this will actually hold then back over time.

yeah, but just got off work. and its 4 am. its only when i turn, i got a little rub mark and when i had the key in and have me fiance turn the wheel, i watch it hit it. When I put them on, this one must be a little more forward than the other, but it's just like half an inch, and on the inside edge of the flare... I wish they were open like the Pocket style bushwackers I had on my wrangler... lol.

here is the picture showing wheel rub... It is actually past the fenderflare right now, which is what my problem is. It is only this one fenderflare, and this is what happens when I turn.

looks like you need some adjustable control arms.
how much lift do you have, and are they stock control arms?
take a pic from a little further back so we can see the whole flare and wheel. with your wheels straight.
don't cut the flare, these get very weak if they are cut.

I have ~4.5 inches of lift. I know I didn't put any control arms on, but when i put these fender flares on, and was cutting, we used the time proven fallable guesstimate. This flare is more forward than the other, creating the rub. It has to do with how i positioned my flare, and nothing else.
As for lift, I put V-8 Grand Cherokee springs in the front and 4.5 inch lift leaf springs in the rear.
I think i may trim that square inch off, as I will have mudflaps there anyway, and Why would that little bit make them weaker? the wrangler bushwackers are a much lighter material and don't have any of the inner fender flare stuff. (unless you mean off road when getting hit by branches, then that clearly makes sense.. lol)

You can use your stock track bar if you drill a new hole for it about 3/4-1" from the existing hole. I had this problem and one wheel was noticeably out further from the fender than the other wheel causing it to rub.

I'm having the same issue with my Driver side sticking out about an inch further. So a longer track bar will fix this? I have new LCA but not upper. Do I need upper as well?

the wierd part about it is that it is only the one tire, and the other side is perfectly centered... and when straightened out, the centercaps on the rins are the same distance from the fromt of the vehicle. I will have to replace the LCA's soon, but what I don't get is that everything should be spaced right. I mean, The stack LCA is on the driver side as well... and it is not pulled back... So what makes the passenger side have more affect on the LCA?
