I'm not mechanically inclined but here's what I know from experience. When you lift it the stock track bar can become too short. This won't make a difference in spacing of your tires front to back so the center cap distance will be the same. The track bar does impact where your tires sit side to side though so 4 inches of lift with a stock track bar causes the driver side to tire to stick out farther than the passenger side. Said another way, since the track bar is too short it seems to pull the axle over so it can still mount in the original hole.

If you're pretty sure you're not gonna lift it any more, or you're tight on money, you can get it back where it belongs by drilling a different hole for the track bar to mount. If money isn't an issue get an adjustable track bar.

the adj lca's and a new trac bar will make a world of difference...take a before and after pic from the side so u can see how far the axle shifts!

So I just redid my entire steering setup, below the pitman arm, and new brakes. I am getting ready to do the trac-bar and LCA's. My question is, why don;t most people redo their UCAs as well. Is there a need to replace UCAs or just the LCAs?

Thanks, Caged. It was confusing me a little bit as I assume that just changing the LCAs would only cause a tilt in the axle, and not a correction for it being dragged back due to height increase. This should be the last things I need to do, as it is currently, and finally street legal. Any choices in LCA/UCA combo best for the buck? Not trying to go cheap, but a lot I have seen are overpriced for the fair market value, and want a good one that isn't overpriced. I also believe I read somewhere that Rustys LCAs fail? May be the wrong part, but I know a lot of his stuff is good, just one seems to have a tragic fail.

Thanks again, any preferences and links would be really helpful.
