If the caliper is damaged it will need to be replaced. If it is just a broken bolt like you said. Just replace the broken bolt

If the banjo bolt is broken, and part of it is still in the caliper, you will have to get it out with an easy out bolt remover. If you can't, or damage the caliper in the process, then the caliper will have to be replaced.......RR

Curious, how did you not know? If it was broken, you would be leaking brake fluid, pedal going to the floor, crashing into things when you couldn't stop.

yea how did you not know it was bad. if it was leaking thats one thing a couple of fresh washers should take care of it, if it was broken broken then you wouldn't have brakes.??? are you sure we are talking about the same banjo bolt. are you sure it IS a banjo bolt.

I'm starting to wonder if it was just one of the caliper bolts, that hold it in place, and not a banjo bolt......RR

hm. after hearing you guys im wondering if i was misled as to what the broken part actualy is. i will take a pic of it and post it. its got like a rubber dust boot or gromit that is shot allowing the caliper to move freely (with the whell off) it doesnt leak any where and there is brake peddlle.

That is just a caliper bolt and slide. A banjo bolt is the bolt used to attach the brake line. Show us a pic of yours that is broke and we may be able to help.

Hmm, like JWheeler said, get a pic. If the bolt is broken, good chance you will have to drill it out.....RR
