Default buying wheel bearings.

I'm going to replace my wheel bearings , and was going to order them off of ebay. Is there a brand that is better then the rest or a brand I should stay away from? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Timken makes the oem bearings.. and like 80% of the bearings out there, for all sorts of applications.

Because a QUALITY part generally costs more money than a crappy part. Hence the price difference. You get what you pay for.

But hey, if you like replacing them more often than you need to, buy an eBay knock off

Buy Timken. Avoid cheap bearings, you'll spend a lot more money in the long run by using cheap bearings, trust me on that. I had a truck with bearing/hub assemblies like on the front of an XJ. Bought cheap bearings with a lifetime warranty. Replaced them so often nobody would honor the warranty anymore, and my truck spent a lot of time broken down because of it. Plus the other parts that got destroyed the couple times a wheel came completely off due to the bearings coming apart with no warning. Would have been a lot cheaper and better for me to buy Timken in the first place. When I replaced the bearings on my XJ, I bought the best the first time around.

Just my experience, fwiw

Wasn't trying to be a smart***. If I had personal experience with this like Kirk does, I would have thrown it in. But I don't so I went with giving you a straight answer... Sorry you interpreted that the way you did

I no nothing about Moog products but I do know that my local NAPA store stopped selling Moog products because of the warranty issues with them.

I bought Timken hub units from Autozone (which I do not care for because they are smart a$$es), and only from them because they had a three year warranty on them.

The Timken units were made in some eastern European country...East Jabip I think but they have been doing just fine since install, two years ago.
