Clutch not engaging. Seems to be the problem with high psi on lo side and 0 psi on hi side. Going to jump it tomorrow. Hopefully this engages the clutch and gets things flowing.
If I swap cans with the valves closed, would air get in?

I have to chalk this one up as a loss. I have no more time to contribute.

heres and easier troubleshoot that might solve ur problem check hi and low lones leading to ac condenser. then check screws at the connectors for leaks while putting freon in the system then check condenser for leaks. good to have two people doing it one putting in the freon other to check for leaks if you don't hear or see anything then most likely its the evap.

Did you try to jumper the compressor to force it on, and then try to fill? My AC system was at very low pressure, so I jumpered the compressor - let it ran for a minute, and then started to fill with fresh R134. Holding pressure a month later so I assume that the pressure was just on the low side...

I checked it again and had high psi lo side and low psi high side. FSM says bad compressor, orifice tube or drive belt slipping.
Still have to test the relay for compressor.

I took the cover off of the relay. The compressor clutch will engage if I move the contact point myself. Put in a new relay and same result. It is a electrical problem I am having. Anybody?

Not completely accurate but general area the problem is in. The drawn ground is maybe where the dealership did a bypass that they mentioned to me. Different shop seems to be knowledgeable. One of the techs swapped v8 in his wrangler that he did
