Default A/C compressor magnetic but not engaging

Hey guys im new to the forum. I have searched around alot and havent found the answer to the issue i am having.

My ac clutch will not engage. I habe bypassed all of the relays and sensors to see if i could hear the "click" of the clutch engaging. But I can not grt it to engage. When i do the bypasses i stick a screwdriver to the clutch and i can definately feel the pull of the magnets inside. So im not sure why the clutch wont actually engage. Thanks for the help in advance.

Since the magnet is engaged shouldnt that mean that i am getting voltage? The magnet has a pretty strong pull when i manually apply power to it when i jump it to the battery.

Always start with the easy stuff and don't make assumptions. It is the first thing I would do

Ok. I used a multimeter and check the voltage at the compressor. 13.something when the ac is turned on with the jeep running. The fan slso kicks on ehen i turn the ac on. The clutch just wont engage. I can stick a screwdriver to the clutch and feel the pull from the magnets. But it just wont engage. What should i try next? Thanks

Sounds like you will need to replace the compressor or the clutch. Which is up to you
