Default A/C pressures high

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I have posted on here as my jeep has been behaving herself but now she is giving me a problem with the ac. Last year I put a junkyard compressor in and it has been great since. At least till now. It wasn't blowing cold and I kept hearing the compressor kick in and out. So I hooked up my gauges and looked at them. The low side was between 35 and 40 so that was fine but the high side would jump up to 450 and shut off. Now I know from working on others cars that something is wrong. Most of the time other cars would run 250 to 300. Does anyone know what is wrong with my ac? Thanks for the help.

Is the fans working the electric fan and the fan clutch that will let the high side pressure go up so high .

Yes I forgot to mention earlier that the electric fan kicks on at 300 psi and the clutch fan is new and works.

Might have a clog in the system. If it was not flushed properly last year it could be catching up to you.

Ultra high pressures could be an indication of a clogged evaporator.

Ok thanks. Do you think it is too late to flush it?
