While driving (vehicle moving), there should be plenty of air flow thru the condenser (unless somehow blocked). If the evap is icing up, I would think the condensation drain would be draining a steady stream of water when stopped (as in stopped, motor off, in the driveway/parking lot)......is it?

Not a steady heavy stream, but in AZ they drip a lot due to high temps and fast melting.

I would think a ball of ice would melt quickly with a good stream of water.....especially in AZ. If not, maybe the evap is not freezing.

Humidity has a lot to do with condensation formation......I don't think humidity is even listed in AZ dictionaries.
