92 with a 110k & 96 with 76k seems you dont have to worry about buying another one for a long time?

My 92 has been extremely reliable and I have never had any serious issues with it, just general maintenance stuff.

My 96 on the other hand, is full of issues. It was probably abused by it's previous owners, especially since it was owned by the government for 12 years. Despite it being my project Jeep and as much as I love it, I've thought about selling it before so I could just buy a better XJ to take it's place.

I have no doubt that my 92 will be able to run past 300k. It's been babied all it's life, because my family takes care of their vehicles unlike the government or anyone who owned my 96 haha.

I bought a 17oz R134A kit at autozone and did the recharge procedure. The A/C still isn't as cold as what it should be. My guess is I might need more. The question is, how much more? lol

Did you evacuate the old refridgerant, vacuum down the system to 30hg, check for leaks, and then recharge it with the proper amount of refridgerant? No, you just dumped refridgerant into a leaky system that is full of air and moisture. You just wasted money and refridgerant.

Yeah made a mistake lol. Im just gonna use the refrigerant evac and fill machine at my school's shop tomorrow. I worked on a tahoe today and replaced O rings, evac'd the refrigerant, and recharged the system so im a little more familiar with the procedure. Its not too hard with the right equipment.
