No I dont hear anything like the doors opening. It sounds like there is an air leak. Is their a hose on the back of the controller?

it sounds like a vacuum line may have come off, just need to access the climate controller and look on the back, and all the vacuum lines to see which one is off, your engine maybe idling a little high also?

Looked on the back of controller all vacuum lines were attached. Do they go to under the dash or into the engine?

Hope this will help, your vacuum starts at the intake and goes to a bottle in the bumper on the right side,it then goes through the firewall from bottle to the climate controller, one of the ports on the back side of the climate controller goes to the heater control valve in the engine compartment next to your plastic bottle. You may have a line off under the dash.

Finally had some time to mess with it today. So I check the vacuum lines and they were fine. Decided to start it up and what do you know the vents opened but as soon as I turned it to heat no more air?

No it comes through the front vents. Air stops flowing as soon as I switch it to heat and barely blows on bi level.

I am sure you know your jeep so it either has to be a door is not open all the way,or a hose is restricted. when you put it on max a/c does it blow hard then?

Well it is not your fan, when it is in bi-level it will not blow as hard, but I assume it has changed from what was normal before, the only thing I can think of is a door is not opening all the way.
