I put it up on jack stands and spun it pretty good. I was not able to replicate the noise.

The LF tire appears to be very slightly out of round. The tires are Definity Dakota M/T 235/75/15 (Pep Boys private label, allegedly manufactured by Cooper).

The RF did not turn, and had a slight jerking motion. I assume this is normal for an open differential. The LR didn't spin.

I'm going to pull the front driveshaft and see if that quiets my gremlin.

Upon further investigation, I have found that I have a bad tire. I installed the spare on the LF, and the noise went away. Sometimes the simple solution is right in front of us. That was my Homer Simpson moment.

Glad it worked out to be something relatively cheap and easy to fix.
