Default Can't find O rings in oil filter adapter

I feel stupid. I decide to replace them while the motor is out. Got the adapter off but don't see the three o rings I see referenced everywhere. Am I missing something?

Trying to wrap this up and get the O rings from Oreillys before they close tonight at 10. Any direction is much appreciated.

And another picture since my iPad won't let me attach more than one.

The only real O-ring for the adapter is the big black one shown in your first photo. The smaller 2 o-rings go on the bolt which holds the adapter on

He'll, it's not even a normal o ring. This one is flat?

Also, I don't see any Orings on the bolt that goes into the block? I wouldn't know where to install them....

you have to remove the bolt to find the other 2 orings. the big one on the adapter is flat bc it's old and worn out.

Yep, they turn into a plastic disk after a while. Careful getting that bad boy out, I put a mechanics pick right through my thumb cause the oring broke instead of stretched

Yes it's a big flat one for the adapter. Here is a photo from a thread I made about removing the bolt. You can see the larger o-ring on the bolt right below the red line in the photo and the smaller o-ring is about the middle of the bolt

Thanks for the tips. How do I get this bolt out? Just hammer it out?

Just answered my own question. Push it out with fingers.

Anyone have actual sizes?

Not sure what sizes the ones on the bolt are. I never had to change those. The big one for the adapter is just like $2 at an auto parts store

I'll be going to the dealership I guess. Auto parts stores near me don't have anything matching. That makes the best case scenario for the motor install next weekend. Bummer. I guess I need to figure out my block build date to get the right part number from the dealership

Now I have a little more time to decide if I want to paint the engine...

Depends on the year and style of oil filter housing as both are different.
The first is renix and second is h.o and the difference between them the main one is the same on each but the inners on are complete different.
