Yeah basically that's how it works..and it creates a play list with song titles and you select em by track sorta like a cd..

crutchfield will rip you off, that is a promise

Take full advantage of their online advisory (just try to decypher the crap they tell you to get you to buy stuff, if you can get past that they are full of info)

Pioneer you cant go wrong, also their speakers are great. One thing i will say is dont spend an extra $100-$120 to replace your rears as well, i dont even run rears anymore because the sound difference is incredibly minimal, pretty much equivilant to increaseing your volume like 5%... I.E. - dont replace them.

Some pioneer 6.5" speakers will do you good, about $50 each. Head units can be had for around $150 for a decent one, just do your self a favor and get a pioneer one, or alpine or even kenwood.

BlueXJ if you look at the front of the head unit in the picture I posted to the far right you see two things outlined in blue..On of those is an aux and one is usb...

dabeast I ended up going all kenwood..Looked at pioneer but just didn't like the looks of em at all...As for speakers in the 91's you have to modify the door to fit 6.5" speakers and I wasn't really wanting to do that..So I went stock replacement 5.25" speakers..I did how ever get a second set of speakers...I am going to pull the passenger door panels and see if I can mount some there..If they have the mount brackets and all I have to do is run wire and cut a hole in the panel I will put em there otherwise they go in the tailgate...

Oh well if you aalready bought them id just go ahead and throw em in. My brother works for jeep and he says they designed hte cherokees rear sound bar terribly (the ones on the roof) they just cant produce any bass or response because the XJs have like no sound proofing. Kenwoods are fine units, glad you got it all figured out.

Yes I see it now. I thought it would be open like on a computer. But being covered make sense in a vehicle.
