Default Car window issue

Hi guys i have a 98 jeep cherokee country, i have a couple of issues with the windows (power windows);
1- the automatic rolling down window in the driver seat doesn't work anymore, i have to keep pressing down
2- the windows seem a bit slow
3- if i try rolling down several windows at once they all go a lot slower than usual

i'm going to try lubricating the windows with a silicon based lubricant, but i don't think it'll fix most of my problems. any guess on what the problem is or what i should do?

thanks

1- replace the switch.
2- check the voltage while moving the window. It's probably low.
3- When moving multiple windows at the same time they'll always move slower due to lower voltage under load.

You could try soldering the switch like guys do for the auto part.
As far as the windows running slower I just assumed it was cause
things are old and tired.
Like me. LOL.

I had one slow window and tried greasing the felt edges first. I then ended up taking the door card off and spraying a penetration spray up the mechs "tube". By this tube you'll find a plastic tube that comes out of the mech about a foot or so. When the mech reels one way or the other, this tube holds the internal cable.

I kept going up to the point where the spray was coming out of the mech itself. This done the job nicely and the window works at the same speed as the others. Once happy with it I then sprayed a grease spray back up there to help keep it lubricated.

Your issue could still be electrical or a combination of a few things.
