Carpet Removal Question
So I'm zipping along, removing all of the seats and plastic in the Jeep feeling really productive and then, bam all of a sudden I'm tossed for a loop...it even made me pull out the service manual. How in the world do you pull the D-rings on the floor in the back? I imagine that you just pull the ring out to make a gap where the ends of the 'D' can wiggle out, but am I looking at that right? Is there a better way to do this? I'm not sure I need those, but it doesn't hurt to keep them just in case.
Thanks for the help all,

When you drill it out, there is no way to replace them, right? I suppose I don't really need them and they'll be more of a hassle then their worth. We'll see.
About the rhino loner though. I saw your build thread so I'm familiar with your Jeep's floor history. After I fix any rust I find, I'm looking for a bedliner that minimizes road noise. What are your thoughts on road noise with the carpet out and the bedliner in. What liner did you use and how many coats did you apply. At the very least I'll be laying bed liner, but I may put new carpet down too.

Oh, pick yourself up a little pop rivet gun, make sure it has interchangable collars (1/8" and 3/16" are the ones you will use constantly).
Then just get an assortment of rivets in all lengths, collars, and head sizes, a bunch of 1/8 and 3/16 backing washers. Insert rivet into gun, slip backing washer on (optional) and squeeze. Let go, squeeze again until it pops. All done.
Once you get that thing, I guarantee you'll find a million other uses for it and will prob start fabbing stuff just to use it.
