I can't say for sure but that doesn't sound right. I might pour some water down the left, look under and see where it comes out, then check under on the right. Mouse nest, mud packed in? Fir or Pine needles? Fish a coat-hanger up there. Don't think I have ever noticed leaking at the door hinge...on three Jeeps in 20 something years.
i always see dripping from a pillar on hinges.

Hey man. Since you have everything out, you should throw some bedliner on your floor pans. I did just as a failsafe if you will and my carpet is in as well. Just bedlined just in case and put the carpet back.

hosed it again today, not a drop except on a pillar , none on firewall or kick area. i think the dam,AND the gooped up sealed vent did it, mainly the sealed vent. ill do periodic checks for dampness but im done, finally, for now.

Zoom in on this pic at the area near cowl and bottom corner of windshield. This seam sealer falls out. Not sure if it can cause leaks to interior. I resealed mine but it is still leaking from somewhere. Probably still a good idea to redo it as you can see mine was beginning to rust.
im dry now but i want to know more about this area of drains.

the other side pix is different but it helps understanding. that could get plugged. wonder how to get up there without pulling the liner? remember, the water that drains thru those 2 screws still goes thru there.
and i aint pulling the fender . many thanks to the guy who gave those pix.,,, Waynerd !!
