the reason most of me and my mates roof mount our cbs is 1: they take a bit of a battering if you have a passenger [both cb and passenger lol] and 2: possible water damage. you aint had a good day if your floors not wet lmao.

Originaly, mine was on the bottom of the dash on the passenger side......
But, worried about water, I moved it into the overhead console, removing the sunglasses holder and garage door opener along the way.....
Mounted the arial behind the rear lamp assembly.

I realized I didn't post any pictures.
Like I said.. it isn't pretty. I am not done yet, still need to paint but for the moment it is doing it's job nicely.

I've got a cobra 25 wxst I'm going to mount on the passenger side of the tranny box... Hoping that it might fit in between the passenger seat cushion so it's further out of my way. I'll post pics when it's mounted
