Default Central locking issue

Hi,

I am new here. My 2001 Cherokee has a problem with the central locking system.
The point is when i push the button on the remote it will lock the doors, but then within a second or so all doors will unlock by itself again.
This can sometimes even occur after half an hour.
So i never know for sure if my car is/will remain locked when I leave it.

Does anyone know of this problem/had this problem themselves.
And even better: how to solve it?

Thanks.

what happens if you lock it using the door pad instead of the fob?

When i lock the doors manually with the key, the same happens.
It also somehow seems that the hotter the day is, the more it occurs. When it is cold outside, the central locking sometimes does work.

Exclamation central locking not working at all

Hi hope this is in the right place and time, because I always get it wrong on these things . My central locking became hard to open , now its stopped completely . is there a fuse somewhere surely all the motors havent gone . I will try lubricating all mechanisms as suggested and hope that works . The doors open with the key but nothing happens when I press the all door switch . So i have to open them manually. Its a pain
can anyone help ?

pS i AM in bulgaria at the moment , so trying to explain in bulgarian is hard because they would only charge a fiver to fix it here. I got leaf springs fitted for £70 and was told that was too dear for here, I was quoted £350 in uk, i was happy about it.
