character flaws & some not-too-easy-to identify issues
hey everyone,
so i've "recently" purchased a '99 xj classic, currently at 119,000 miles, all stock. I live in canada so it's got a couple spots of body rust but nothing to ride home about. The electronics are what give me the most issues, IE; i have to turn on the dome light in order to engage the cruise control, the passenger windows decide when they want to function unless I put them down from the drivers side buttons, these aren't really big issues. The instrument panel just stopped working and the "airbag" light came on, this problem was easy to find a solution for.
However, I've been searching the web for the last week or so about the weatherstripping between the small rear quarter window and the moving window. So far i haven't been able to come up with much, can't even really tell you what it's called.
Anyways, as I live in Canada it gets really snowy and therefor everything tends to rust a lot more and I'd like to fix this problem before winter comes back
the window itself is fine
