Cheap Tires?

Playing devil's advocate here: Semi's weigh a whole heck of a lot more then my Cherokee. Just sayin
I've been searching and I hardly find a bad review of them from anyone who actually owns them. I see a lot of the "you get what you pay for" sentiment, but thats not from anyone who owns them. I think I'm gonna keep searching and try and find something negative, otherwise I will have to try these out.

As a teenager almost 3 decades ago... I bought retreads for my car. Never had a problem with them. And I had a heavy car and foot...
HOWEVER I did buy a set of el cheapos from NTB for a Ford Ranger and had 3out of 4 fail while driving. (not at the same time)The treads came apart like a retread does but they were not retreads. Only 2000 miles out of warranty. NTB wouldn't do a thing. Tried to get them to work with me because they sold defective tires. Wouldn't even pro-rate them towards a new set.
Seriously thinking about the Treadwrights for my XJ and my daughters TJ. I even heard you can request matching casings such as BFG's.

Re-Treads
In the 1970s I work for a construction company that had a large fleet of pick-ups work trucks forman trucks mechanic trucks with the tool box bodys. Every one of those trucks ran the old name Re-caps. we never had any trouble with the I know a few of those trucks got severly over loaded at times. no problems now 30 years later Im sure they are even better than in the old days Im going to check two shops this week (local) that has them in various tread patterns I was told one has a tread same as a B.F. goodrich with the little dog bone type tread most are in the $50.00 Range mounted & balanced wih warrenty and they say most get 40,000 miles plus.. let you know what I find out. If not Im going with some good ol made in Korea or china Kumhos!!!
