Cheapest way to stop vibes at 4.5"?

Yeah idk what just happon in the last messages but that dude had not reason for being on here but yeah ummm what is the vibration? Front end? Drivetrain? If it is the drivetrain I do not think there is anything cheaper then a T-drop.

Cheapest thing to do is, put stock suspension back in... First you need to find out what is causing the vibes, driveline, suspension, tire/wheel, alignment.
What did you 4.5" lift consist of, parts?
Do you have good bushings and TREs, is your pinion angles correct, did you get it aligned, are the tires ballanced, are your U-joints good, wheel bearings good, ect?

I should have been more clear. I do not have a lift yet, I was just curious because I am having a terrible time deciding between 4.5" and 3" of lift. I asked the question because from what I have read, if i go 4.5" without a SYE, severe vibes are inevitable.
The reason I'm having a hard time deciding how big of a lift to get is because 4.5" is sexier and more expensive and requires more work but 3" is a lot cheaper and requires less modifications.

I'm in the same boat.
this is not my first lift, but its my first jeep.
I'm definitely going with 4.5.......when I get the cash to do it. Yeah I might need a SYE but hey if I buy a 3" its just gonna be money wasted. I'm gonna do the Grand Cherokee Springs and S10 leaf packs for now just to get it up off the ground then I'm gonna later on spend the money on a good 4.5.

what year rig? what T/C and rear end?
Im on 5" lift on 33" tires, NO sye, and besides bad motor mounts, i have 0 vibrations..
I have a TC drop to put in, but really dont see a need yet..
I have 6* shims in the rear.. but that just helps pinion angle.. not the slip yoke length

the cheapest is simple just take the drivshaft out and dont drive... haha
but a drop kit shouldve came with the lift depending on what ya bought.

With a 96 and older jeep you should be fine with a 4.5" and 1" TC drop. The output shaft is different on the newer jeeps and they tend to have vibs the seconds they go over 3"

Yes, then I would be worried about going to 4.5" lift. You will more than likely need a SYE and a TC drop probably won't help. Good news is you can get a RE Hack-N-Tap for cheap and then use a stock XJ front drive shaft out of the J/Y and it will bolt right up and work great for your setup without the use of the drop. I would save and go this route as I used to have a 3" lift and it wasn't long after I got it that I started grabbing parts to get me at the 4.5" lift that I'm at now.
