Engine: I6 4.0L
If it's a true check engine light then you need to fix the problem and reset the computer. If it's the "maintenance required" light (the one that tells you it's time to change the o2 sensor) then no, you need an overly expensive dealer tool to reset it. Most folks just pull the bulb since it's a heck of a lot cheaper and easier to do.
