Default check engine light and free ***** tube- help please

well, after i went mudding yesterday, i cleaned EVERYTHING, she has never been this clean. BUT now i have a couple of problems-hopefully not big ones.
As i was cleaning i found a rubber tube hanging down without a home. doing some investigation, i find that it is connected to a small medal tube on the backside of the manifold, i have no clue what or where the other end is supposed to go. any ideas? the loose end hangs down by the transmission. there is no suction. it runs up next to the tranmission fluid dipstick and sticks onto the metal tube on the backside of the manifold.

The second problem is the Check Engine light is on. I really hope it is related to the lost tube=less problems. the jeep idles kinda rough only on start up, it kinda wants to die so i have to give it a little gas until it warms up, then its fine. this is new and has not happened before yesterday, fyi.

i did the diagnostic check by turnig the key on off on off on, and the codes are 12 and 21. they are Memory standby and O2 sensor.

What do you guys think. although it runs fine, i want to get this taken care ASAP. I have a fishing trip scheduled for friday, its either use the jeep or a toyo to pull the boat- no brainer.

oh ya its a 95 sport auto 6cyl 4.0
