please help me !!! i have bought a cherokke in december 2008 and sadly it had some problems that i did not know about.....the radiator was damaged, when i turned on the heat it did not work and the cooling fluid escaped from the expansion tank, and the engine was overheating...........i fixed those issues.....the problem was with the gasket cylinder heads

the first month after it ran just fine but now it wont start.....

when i turn the key it acts like it has no gas and doesn't start but after a few tries(about 7) it start but today it didn;t start at all

any advice ?

An easy way to check to see if your not getting enough fuel is to spray some starting fluid into the air intake, if it starts right up, your not getting enough fuel

dont spray starting fluid into a desiel engine as for testing it if you are no good at mechanics have a shop test it there is high pressure involved

I fixed the problem ..... a couple of hoses where damaged i mounted a little pump on the diesel intake hose and armed the fuel pump and went and bought some hoses


now it runs just fine

i will keep the pump there just in case :P
