cherokee 5spd, np231 transfer case=#$%@ ??
i was reading that 4:1 ratio is a good ratio gearing to have, and if im correct the np231 is 2.72:1??? whats a good transfer case to swap in for better gearing? im new to jeeps, so im trying to get all the info i can

so you think the stock t-case will do just fine with say, 6.5" lift, stock f-r axles, and 35's? i will eventually get lockers, but it wont be right away. i just love the 4:1 ratio in my friends h3 5spd

if you are geared correctly in your axles, then low range will be more than fine with 35's
