I have a problem with my jeep. Sometimes it have starting problems. If I leave it sitting over night and then try to start it in the morning it starts fine, but when I drive it somewhere and hour or two later try to start it again it wont start, it will turn over and you can get it started by keep on pumping gas pedal. I have new battery and my started and pos and neg cables are fine. Last year Ive replaced all the sparkplugs and leads, distributer cap and rotor. Please HELP!!

haha when i got my jeep my cluster would randomly quit working and the check engine light was on.... i sunk it half way up the jeep and after my instruments work fine and the check engine light has been off ever since. however my speakers only work when the doors r closed and then thats 50/50
My window switch sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, even cleaned it and it still acts up lol.

I've had my 98 XJ Sport since 2001 - 270,000 miles...great engine, crappy wiring, easy to fix. This is my first post of any kind anywhere (old fart), so I'm still figuring how to do basic things (like start a string). But, suddenly today I lost both headlights (hi and low).
I am not getting voltage to the red (input) wire to the headlight switch...only thing upstream is some kind of undocumented fuse (or more likely fusible link). Help...I need to find this quickly...daily driver and I need to work after dark tomorrow.

to Jake92 re that window that sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.....had the same problem...traced it...turned out to be where the wires exit the door and enter the door jamb. They are not all that flexible and after a few thousand open and closes they start to break down.
I just pulled the flexible black rib covering out of the door jamb, and cut it open with scissors. You can see one end of the wires by removing the side kick panel, and the other side by removing the door panel. Just replace the wires that look bad...you will see cracks that look like razor cuts on the inside of the curve where the wire bends.
