What kind of plugs did you use? Do not use Bosch, Most Jeeps do not like them (something with the coilpacks and the ECU) I used them in my 2001 xj last summer, and it did nothing but misfire. I changed them to autolights and haven't had a problem since.

Do the 2000 XJ's have MAP senors? My 95 ran like crap, sounded like it was missing and wouldnt go over 3k rpms when i forgot to hook up the vacuum line for the MAP

Have you checked to see if its sparking on cyl 2? not sure how you would do that with a coil packs

since you seem to have determined that your pump is making and holding pressure, have you tried making the injector-flushing kit, with a syringe, alligator clips, a doorbell switch, and an injector connector from the JY?

you may have gummed up injectors, or they may not be opening at all.

just a shot in the dark, as nothing else seems to have worked yet

-this was my most recent gremlin/fix issue
