That didn't work. It shut off again today. Any other suggestions by chance? Would a power steering pump or anything like that cause this? Thanks for your help, too.

Crank Position Sensor is the other likely culprit but usually that will generate a code.

I would think that it would throw the belt before an engine-mounted accessory was enough to stall the engine, with a working IAC valve that is.

it's got everyone stumped. I feel like id have some other symptoms. Thats it. Just when I slow down to a stop, it dies. And not every time. This is only the 3rd time it's done it. Today I was running the air and headlights, radio. Maybe we will change the crank sensor and see what that does.

We didn't change the crank sensor. We did go over all the vacuum lines and plug ins and found my pcm was loose from the body. So far, since we tightened it down, it has not shut off. Fingers crossed! Thanks for your suggestions.
