I don't let any of my pets stand behind the vehicle when I'm performing the procedure. They get filthy.

nice! I tried the sea foam approach with no appreciable difference in engine performance so I will give this a go.

i'm going to remove the intake/exhaust manifold to install my header. is there anything i can do while the intake manifold is off? like manually clean the inside of the ports / the inside of the manifold itself (by soaking it or something?)

do the steam cleaning first and be amazed at how clean it is when you take it off.

I just performed this cleaning and what a difference. Like tune up in a bottle...lol. It did throw the check engine light on for powertrain miss in cylinders 1 and 6. I cleared the codes using Torque. Engine is idling better then it ever has and runs great throughout the powerband. Thanks for the info!!

just to play devils advocate here...a 10lb bottles worth of n2o would clean just as good or better and be much more fun. maybe only a 50 or 75 to keep it safe.

I just replaced both my o2 sensors

Is there any worry of fouling them, or the spark plugs doing this method?
