Default Clean your throttle body!

Ok so as a few people on here know I sucked water thru my intake twice and thought I had screwed the motor up. Well I cleaned my throttle body and holly **** she runs better then ever no more backfires no more bogging down no shutting down when stopping quickly no more engine troubles. Never knew a dirty throttle body could cause all these issues. I have a high idle but I need to adjust the butterfly stop screw but thats will be on a later date.

Did you just use carb cleaner? Did you pull it off or leave it on?

"I have a high idle but I need to adjust the butterfly stop screw but thats will be on a later date."

You can chase butterflys all you want but that won't fix the vacuum leak.

I get it now. The throttle butterfly screw is no longer adjustable...

Ever think of bending the tang it rests on to get your adjustment?

You'll have to readjust your TPS afterwards.

Did you get it just right so it doesn't let the butterfly bite into the throttle body bore?
