I was going use some closed cell foam for heat dissipation and sound deadening on my Cherokee floorboard. Can I put it down and spay over it????

Thinking of like a bed liner spray or roll on!!!

 

I don't think you can any off that stuff on that foam stuff . bed liner needs to be put on metal

 

The bedliner might also melt the foam.

 

Put the foam over the spray.

Layers of coating ideally should be:

-metal
-primer
-paint
-a constrained damping layer (butyl rubber sound deadener) covering 25-50% of surface area
-closed cell foam decoupling layer
-mass loaded vinyl covering 100% of surface area
-carpet
