clunk, clunk, clunk
Recently I have been hearing an annoying clunk, clunk, clunk,... when stopping. It doesn't happen all the time, it seems to just happen when I have between 3/4- 1/4 tank of gas left. I origionally thought it was something come loose in the brake system, but to no avail. U-joints look good, and dirve shaft looks good. Any one have any ideas?

Check ur exosts down tube comming off the motor, cause on my 4.0 the front drive live u-joint beats up the exost! That's mostly when I'm flexing her out though?!?!

i seriously doubt that its anything to do with your gas tank... although the added weight in the back could effect the brake systems when stopping... crawl under and make sure everything is looking good to go... nothing rubbing... take an adjustable wrench with ya and just kinda pass over any bolts that are easy to get to and make sure there tight...

check your exhaust, and inspect how well its still hanging.... particularly the tailpipe next to the gas tank.... mine rattles around a little bit also
