Hey guys looking for a little help, yesterday I was driving my jeep and it began to clunk per say while i am driving. Its not while the gears shift or when I start from stop, it happens under acceleration and or just cruising. The best way i can explain it is a clunking and it feels like it hesitates as if you were pulling a trailer and were to brake and give it gas.....kind of like a hesitation. It is an automatic and has a hack and tap SYE. All u joints are new and there's no play in the drive shaft. HELP.

did you ever fix the issue. I am having the same issue with my xj. When i am idle there is no noise when i coast or brake there is no noise. It is only when i accelerate and it is a gradual clunk. ( gets faster and louder the faster i go). Tranny shifts great. And i just finished rebuilding the t case and i also rebuilt the rear drive shaft. All new u joints. My only thought is something internal in the tranny. I changed my front diff fluid to and i have a locker so i thought it was that but its not. Also changed the rear diff fluid. Lmk what you found out
