Clutch linkage
I have a 99 xj with an AX-15 5 speed and hate the feel of a hydraulic clutch.
Thinking of replacing the cylinder with a solid piece of linkage, looks doable, anyone ever tried it?

Would love to know how you do it. Sadly every manual xj that i have seen is a hydro clutch. I know that the older one's ( late 80's xj's to when ?) have a much easier to maintain and repair system and i think that it can be adjusted. Good luck!

It's got a regular fork and throw out bearing maybe a heavy duty shift type cable would work, put a new clutch in it but already forgot what it looks like under there. Too damn hot to look now.
