step 1:check the fuse for the mirrors. if good your switch crapped out.
step 2: cycling your key to fast to many time can cause some weird codes to pop up. clear codes and enjoy

i dont think the 443 code has anything to do with the mirror. check for a fuse for the mirrors you can use the owners manual. or i would take the switch out and look for the power wire. i dont know what color it is but im sure you got a chiltons or something. see if it getting power. if its got power its probably the switch. take a jumper and start jumpin you cant hurt nothin. purge soleniod is probably junked or the connector may have gotten coroded(sp). you just remember keep it simple stupid. no offense. just my 2 cents.

yea hit submit and i was like damn were thinkin the same thing. great minds think alike brotha. the 1491 code was probably a fluke but im sure there was at some time a 443 code. seems like theres always a evap code stored in memory.

Neither of those codes are even remotely related to the mirror issue. Chances are its the switch inside the panel itself, those tend to go bad.
The reason the codes came on - Every time you "key on" a vehicle equipped with OBDII, it does duty cycle. It relays voltage to every sensor, to see what voltage comes back. Typically 5 volts is average. If it doesn't see that voltage return, signaling everything is on the up & up, it'll fault that sensor for that key on cycle. After 50 key ons without any issues, it'll turn the MIL off, but store the code in history.
It was looking for a response from both the purge solenoid as well as the low speed fan relay, but it didn't see a response, because you shut the key off too fast, so it figured there was a fault in the system.
Clear codes and have a nice day.
