coil spacers...yay?
so i've been reading write ups for the past freak 3 weeks. I'm doing shackle and spacer lift tomorrow. I got the shackles down pretty well I feel...no questions there...but the spacers I got a few. I got 2" teraflex spacers and there is one side that's flat...does that matter? is it ment to fit a certain way? and the famous debate about weather or not i need the compressor...i think I'm gona try it without it first...any opinions? what does lca stand for? and one other thing (at least for now) where exactly do I put the the spacers???? First jeep...new to the forum...new to the whole lifting thing...but I love my jeep and all I wanna do is make sure I know what I'm doing!!!! If anyone feels like doing a REDICUOUSLY DETAILED write up I would be EXTREMELY thankful...if not that's cool but i appreciate any help/hints/tricks/experience/etc. you are willing to share with me...THANK YOU!!!!!

flat side goes upward. definately gonna want the coil compressor. you can go to a local auto store and pay a down payment for one and when your done return it and get your money back usually. expect to take a full day if it is your first time lifting your vehicle. LCA is lower control arms.

The flat spot I think you are referring to is on the side and that would face the inside of the body and those spacers go on top of your springs.
As for the install get a spring compressor/ strut compressor, the single screw one that is supposed to go down the center won't work, take off the shocks and disconnect the sway bar links, oh yeah you should have the jeep already on jack stands on the body, once the spring is off if the spacer won't slip over the bump stop you'll need to take it off with a pipe wrench
I know I am forgetting a whole lot of details since I've done this many times so I'll try to add more or just let other fill in the blank spots
